How FB Rent collects, uses and protects your personal data, in compliance with Moroccan law 09-08 and GDPR for European visitors.
Data collected
- Identity: name, date of birth, nationality
- Legal documents: ID number, driver's license number
- Contact: address, email, phone
- Booking: vehicle, dates, pickup/return location We never sell your data to third parties.
Your rights

Legal basis
Processing is based on:
- Performance of the contract: for data necessary for the rental
- Legal obligation: for retaining documents for tax and insurance purposes
- Legitimate interest: for fraud prevention and service improvement
- Consent: for marketing communications; you may withdraw your consent at any time
Retention periods
- Rental data: 10 years after the end of the contract, as required for accounting and tax purposes
- Marketing prospect data: 3 years after the last contact
- Analytics cookies: a maximum of 13 months
- Payment data: retained by our banking partner in accordance with its own rules
Recipients
Your data may be shared with:
- Our insurance company in the event of a claim
- Our banking partner to process payments
- Our technical partners, including hosting provider Vercel and analytics services
- The competent authorities where legally required, including the police, courts and tax authorities
We never sell your data to third parties for commercial purposes.
Your rights
Under Law 09-08 and the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Access: obtain a copy of your data
- Rectification: correct inaccurate data
- Erasure: request deletion, subject to legal obligations
- Restriction: restrict processing
- Portability: receive your data in a structured format
- Objection: object to processing for direct marketing
- Withdrawal of consent: at any time

Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. These include encrypted communications (HTTPS), access restricted to authorised persons and regular backups.
